Throughout Term 4, PDHPE students in all year groups have been working conscientiously in theory classes revising course work in preparation for their end of year assessments. Congratulations to all students who performed to their potential throughout Semester 2. Recently the PDHPE teachers have been busy providing students with the important feedback from these assessments to ensure students continue to optimise their results in both theory and practical classes.

We have been fortunate to enjoy some fine and sunny weather throughout Term 4 and as a result, students have participated in a wide range of competitive games on the school oval. All classes from Years 7-10 have participated in various games including, ultimate frisbee, kickball, mini soccer and oztag and golf. The usual modified game ‘favourites’ including continuous forms of cricket, zone ball and ‘Pink Panther’ have been enthusiastically played inside the Bini.

During theory classes our boys have been studying the following topics:-

Year 7 – Online Safety and Fun in the Sun.

Year 8 – Relationships - negotiation and compromise

Year 9 – Consent and power in relationships

Year 10 – Six mates, Six stories – Writing genres and scaffolds.

With the holidays fast approaching we encourage all students to increase their physical activity levels throughout the school holiday break and limit their time spent using gaming devices and other screens. We look forward to seeing everyone return safely in 2025.
