Term 1, Week 9
Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
I hope you and your whānau had a great long weekend. It's hard to believe we are heading into the last three weeks of Term 1.
A big thank you to everyone who supported the student council fundraiser on Thursday, we sold over 180 sausages and sold out on the cake stall. We raised over $850 towards building a new sandpit.
Only 2 weeks until our FOTs Zombie Fun Run; can't wait to see you all there.

Kia Ora Dunedin Schools!
We’ve got some exciting news for the school holidays! From 10th to 22nd April, Wild Dunedin – NZ Festival of Nature is celebrating its 10th year, and there’s something for everyone, from primary schools to high schools. Whether you're a family looking for fun or teens seeking adventure, the festival has it all, and most activities are free or very low cost.
Highlight Event:
NatureDome – a massive family day at Forsyth Barr Stadium, with food markets, workshops, and performances from Anika Moa and Suzy Cato
A chance to break the NZ record for the largest yoga session on Sunday 13th April, from 10am to 11am at Forsyth Barr. Bring your family and help us make history!
Plus, a special screening of Moana – everyone's favourite, perfect for all ages!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, connect with nature, and experience Dunedin's unique wildlife and stunning environment. Tell the kids, share with the parents, and let's spread the word!
We’re promoting the festival across the country and hope to bring families and independent travellers to Dunedin during the April school holidays and Easter. Some events are ticketed and sell out fast, so be sure to secure your spot early.
We can’t wait to celebrate Dunedin as the Wildlife Capital of New Zealand and make this festival one to remember!
