In 2025 Green Island School continues to offer healthy school lunches. Compass is the company that has taken over nationwide. The food is prepared in the North Island, then frozen and sent to Dunedin. It is heated up in a commercial kitchen operating out of the Stadium and delivered in aluminium trays each day in polystyrene boxes to keep the meals warm. The menu for term 1 is in the picture.
