Tom Seifert (TWK) felt there was nothing for the students to do outside during break times and came up with the idea to get a basketball hoop that would fit the needs of all of our students. He wrote a proposal to Mrs Mortimer with fundraising ideas to purchase an adjustable basketball hoop. He organised a Barbecue for students and had some sponsorship from local businesses. He raised enough money with a small top from the school to purchase a basketball hoop. Our students assembled the hoop with the help of TA Dwayne and are now enjoying using the hoop to improve their basketball skills.
