Papa Taiao Conservation and Earthcare Students Day 2

Rachel Taylor —

Featuring the stars from nursery production...

Ākonga ran a native tree planting station as part of Grey Main School's Enviro Action Day by Enviroschools Aotearoa NZ West Coast. Thank you Laura, all the Grey Main kaiako, and especially to the wonderful tamariki who learned how to plant native trees and found out lots of fun facts about the plants! It was wonderful to hear the positive feedback from Grey Main School students with one young man exclaiming: "I loved doing this! I'd like to do more and learn more about plants". Ka pai!

Well done Trees for Change NZ team for showcasing what amazing mahi you do. The leadership and passion you demonstrated today was first class.

This was a great start to continue the incredible Trees for Māwhera project this year. We look forward to these events to come Greymouth Rotary
