Welcome to Term 3, week 1-

Practice Exam Week

Well done to everyone who took part in the practice exams. There are two reasons why they are very important.

  1. To become more comfortable in taking the end of year exams and to find out what areas you need to improve in

  2. To give our students an opportunity to have a derived grade which is needed if anything goes wrong at the end of the year during the actual exams

Also, I would like to thank all of our volunteers who are doing reader/writer for our students who need some extra support. We really, really appreciate it!

NCEA options evening

If you have any more questions about subject choices and future pathways please contact individual teachers and John de Goldi our raparua/careers lead.

Te Hui Ahurei o Te Tai o Poutini - Kapa Haka Festival in Reefton - Wednesday 20th September

Ka rawe to all of our folks who are involved in Kapa Haka and went to Reefton on Wednesday. You did an amazing job and we are very proud of you all. Thank you so much to whaea Kylie, matua Joe Mason, Mr Toki, Paula Iraia and the rest of the team.

Basketball Nationals - Palmerston North

The best of luck to both the boys and the girls teams who are off to Palmerston North to play in the 2023 Basketball Nationals. Thank you so much to the coaches and parents as well as all the sponsors. Ka pai!!

Term 3 holidays

This is a great time for our students to have a bit of a break, enjoy themselves but also get caught up with all of their work and for our seniors to finish up their NCEA internals and get ready for their exams. Please catch up with individual subject teachers if you have any specific questions or the deans who have more of an overview.
