This term our Qwest class is looking at the natural environment and looking at how we can enhance our local environment.

Looking at the somewhat neglected Perotti Park, students helped clean up the illegal dumping of litter in that area. We also found details of the perpetators that we’ve handed onto the Grey District Council. 

We hope to learn more about invasive plants and animals in the area and working with the Department of Conservation, will try and reduce their impact.
