Congratulations to the GHS rugby league players of Harvey Tacon, Declyn King, Reuben Taylor and Liam Gurden with their attendance at the recent Southern Zone Rugby League's Elite Academy taking place in Christchurch. Excellent to see camps like these still going ahead with the year it has been! 

Reminders of Sports Trainings

Sport is kicking back off for Term 3 and a friendly reminder that it is important to attend your team training if you wish to take the court/field. We have many coaches/managers volunteering their time to train you, please make sure you show your commitment and attend training.

If you cannot attend your training please notify your coach as they often plan drills etc. based on how many players will be at training.

Basketball

• Junior A Girls: Mondays 3.00 - 5.00pm, new gym 
• Thunder, Warriors, Lakers: Tuesdays lunchtime, new gym
  
• Senior A Boys: Tuesdays 3.00 - 4:30pm, new gym
• Junior A Boys: Tuesdays 4:30 - 6.00pm , new gym
• Bros, Raptors, Bucks: Wednesday lunchtime, new gym
• Tawa, Rata: Thursdays 4.00 - 5.00pm, new gym
• Senior A Girls: Thursdays 5:30 - 7.00pm, new gym

Netball

• GHS A and B: Wednesday 3:30 - 5.00pm, new gym

Rugby Union

• 1st XV, U15 and Open Girls: Mondays 1.00 - 2.00pm, school field

Term 3 is busy term for mostly senior sports that will see us take on Westland HS, Buller HS, John Paul II, South Westland AS, Reefton AS and Karma AS in a range of sports. If you would like to represent GHS in any of the sports below please get in contact ASAP.

• 26th August - Boys and Girls Football, Reefton
• 1st September - Senior Boys and Girls Volleyball, Greymouth
• 9th September - 1st XV, U15 and Open Girls Rugby vs Buller HS, Greymouth
• 16th September - 1st XV, U15 and Open Girls Rugby vs John Paul II, Greymouth
• 23rd September - 1st XV, U15 and Open Girls Rugby vs Westland HS, Hokitika

Sports Fees 2020

Netball Fees 2020: $56.00 per player

• DUE: Friday 7th August 2020
• Includes individual player levy to WCNC and indoor playing costs.

Basketball Fees for 2020: $40.00 per player

• DUE: Monday 3rd August 2020
• Includes team entry fee to WCBA and court costs.

Rugby Fees for 2020: $30.00 per player

• DUE: Friday 28th August 2020
• Includes transport costs and after-match functions.

Fees can be paid in to the school office or online to the school bank account (12-3169-0015308-00). Please use the player's name as reference and "BBALL FEES"/"NETBALL "RUGBY FEES".

Please get in contact if you have any problems paying these fees as we can work out a payment plan to ensure ALL players can play their sport in 2020.

If fees are not paid (without any contact from you) prior to the due date your child CANNOT take the court/field until these fees are paid.
