CV19 Alert Level 2 UPDATE Sunday 16 Aug 2020

Andy England —

No real change from last week but some tweaks to our Site H&S Plan and general reminder...if you've read your email, you don't need to read this!

In my view the continuation of Alert Level 2 is a good move: it offers a suitable level of safety while allowing us to carry on with minimal disruption. This coming week, we expect to operate as we have for the last two days. Key points:

  1. The biggest effect most of you will see is that we keep students onsite at breaks during Level 2. Please ensure your child has food and water or money for the school cafe. Passes for going home or appointments are still valid.
  2. Hygiene at home and at school is really important (handwashing, sneezing in to elbows, minimising contact)
  3. Face masks are NOT needed but anyone wishing to wear one is free to do so
  4. All students and staff, even those with higher health risks, are expected to attend school UNLESS they are sick or advised not to by a doctor
  5. Students and staff do not need to complete a contact register but visitors do - we have a QR Code for scanning on entry OR a paper contact register. If you come onsite, please make sure you use these
  6. We will decide on Monday whether our facilities can be opened to the public; also about the viability of the Senior Ball
  7. Some sports codes may be affected but most school trips will continue as planned.
