Congratulations to all of our talented athletes on a great performance!

Greymouth HS attended the WCSS Athletics Championships on the 9th March along with John Paul II, Westland HS, Buller HS, South Westland AS and Reefton AS. Great to see so many WCSS involved in this event.

It was a busy day of competition at ANZAC Athletics Track with GHS students impressing throughout the day in many events. All of our students represented GHS with pride and it was fantastic to see so many perform to a high level gaining multiple placings. Please see attached document of the results - GHS results highlighted in green.

Thank you to Mr Henderson for assisting taking students to the track and to our track recorders of Hannah Neame, Allie Vaughan and Griffin Thomas for being invaluable members of the team helping with placings and recording times.

Also thank you to Bill Grogan from Sport Canterbury for organisation around the day, Jack O'Connor for running the track events and to all the schools for running their own respective events. Looking forward to the next instalment of this awesome event.
