Poster design competition

GreyDC —

Waldo invites you to design a poster which reminds pet guardians in the Grey District to create Pet Preparedness Plans when preparing for emergencies. See the links at the bottom of the page to find out more.

The entries will be judged by Mayor Tania Gibson & Cassandra (from Left Bank Art Gallery). Winning entries will be displayed in the Left Bank Art Gallery & may even be featured as part of our official Civil Defence branding.

Age Categories:

5-8 years | 9-12 years | 13-16 years

Competition Rules:

  • Landscape A4 paper
  • Only 1 entry per person
  • No glitter please!
  • 2D art work only (as it needs to be scanned into a computer!)
  • Only hand drawn, painted or digital artwork accepted
  • Write your full name, age, school, type of pets you have (if any) & guardian's name & phone number in pencil on the back of your entry (lightly so it doesn't show through!)
  • Hand-in your entry at the Grey District Library or Westland Rec Centre
  • Deadline: SUNDAY 31st OCTOBER 21
