Fantastic day had by everyone!

WHAT AN OUTSTANDING DAY! Congratulations to all our students for getting involved in our Athletics Day Red Light Edition it was a great day across the board with music pumping, hotly contested events, fantastic house colour costumes, huge support for those competing and ice blocks that were welcomed on a warm day from the lovely PTA.

THANK YOU to everyone who made the day a fantastic event including our grounds crew of Wayne and Alex for marking up the track, our amazing student leaders for supporting every year group and the important job of handing out ice creams, our excellent staff and of course our AMAZING student body!

Current House Points - Running Events

Rata is holding onto a slim lead of 251 points, closely followed by Pounamu and Kahurangi both on 229 points, Tawa is setting in fourth place on 203 points after our first house event of 2022 - keep an eye out on more house events to help get your hose to the top of the leaderboard!

We still have our FIELD EVENTS to complete that include discus, shot put, javelin, high jump and long jump - all of these events will be run during break times on the school field over the next few weeks - keep an eye on your student email for when you will be competing.
