WCSS Cross Country
Over 50+ runners in action!
We couldn't have asked for a nicer day to run the West Coast Secondary School Cross Country on Tuesday at Kumara Race Course - blue skies, not too hot and a damp track to make it more interesting for the runners.
It was fantastic to see such a large field of runners represented from all seven West Coast Secondary Schools in action across the age groups.
We have 12 runners from GHS attend the event and they did us proud, multiple picked up placing throughout the age groups and we have many who are going onto the Canterbury Cross Country on Thursday 3rd June.
Thank you to Pavel Bares for setting up the circuit for our runners, easy course to follow and great one for spectators with some awesome wee challenges through the humps and hollows within the middle of the race course.
Thank you to Lynne Berry for getting some excellent shots of the runners taking on the great spectator friendly Kumara Racecourse circuit CLICK HERE to view the photos.
