Student Wellbeing Survey

Kate Halls, PB4L Lead Teacher —

Over the next couple of weeks we will be asking all of our students to complete a Wellbeing Survey via an electronic form.

Wellbeing is essential to learning and in order to maximise our chances of students engaging with their lessons and achieving success at school, we need to take their wellbeing into account. Among other things we want to know whether they have positive relationships with their peers at Greymouth High School, and what the interactions are like between both them and their whānau, and the teachers and staff who support them at school. We also need to know whether they feel confident and comfortable in the classrooms and teaching areas. We have been through some challenging times in the last few years, with students having to take time off sick, or needing to work in isolation at home. This anonymous survey will give us some useful information about how best we can support our students and plan for the direction of our school.
