Last Friday Mrs Mortimer accompanied students Iris Reynolds and Brighid Gallagher to The Hits radio station, to learn how Greymouth High students record their monthly community updates. She even got a turn behind the microphone!

Brighid’s tips for sounding good on the radio include smiling when you speak, to make your voice sound bright and cheerful.
