Congratulations, Ryan!

Ryan MacKenzie received a Mayors award this week in recognition of the incredible volunteer work he does in his local community of Ahaura. 

Some of the amazing mahi Ryan does includes maintaining the grounds at the local camp site, removing rubbish and cleaning the toilets, looking after the community hall and squash courts (and arranging repairs if needed), running the local disco, hosting and helping feed over 100 scouts during their jamboree last summer and mowing lawns around the community. Ryan also organised the first ANZAC Service in Ahaura, and helped make the morning tea.
