Ka ora Ka ako evaluation

Thank you so much to everyone who completed the evaluation and offered further support. We really appreciate this. We have been so lucky here at Grey High to offer amazing meals and to be totally honest there is very little food left over at the end of the day. The vast majority of our students are very grateful for the food and I really like the way it creates a sense of community when the mentor classes eat together. It is not a perfect system but I think we are doing an amazing job and we really want it to continue.

Voices of Hope

This week we were fortunate to have Voices of Hope with Jazz Thornton talk to our junior school around supporting our young people’s mental health. It's really important that all of us are supported to have good mental health so we can reach our full potential.

Easter Break

A reminder that school is closed from Friday to Tuesday inclusive. We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday 3rd April

Sam’s plans

I am returning to the UK during the Easter period to visit with my family. I haven’t caught up with them since pre-covid and I am very excited to see them, especially my dad. The school will be led by our Deputy Principals Jayne Wheeler and Rowan Haigh. If you do need to contact me during the few weeks I am away please email me and if it is important please contact my Executive Assistant Emily Westacott on westacotte@greyhigh.school.nz

Phones away for the day

A reminder from our SLT that all phones are away for the day from the start of Term 2. This means that no phone is allowed to be seen during the whole of the school day. Thank you so much in advance for your support on this.
