Senior dance students Ellie Brown, Catherine Flannagan and Jordyn Houghton had their eyes on attending the Melbourne Arts Festival in 2020. Their trip to the festival, a week of performances and workshops, represented over eighteen months of fundraising. When the festival was postponed the trio decided to reinvest part their funding in the future of dance at Greymouth High by dedicating three trophies to the school. These trophies will be awarded to the top student in dance at Year 11, 12 and 13 each year.
