Covid-related wellbeing support roles: seeking expressions of interest (EOI)

We have secured funding for several roles to support wellbeing related to Covid issues in most schools in the Grey District / Māwhera:

  • Teacher aides

  • Social workers

  • Counsellors

  • Youth workers

These roles are needed urgently and funding needs to be used before the end of this year. We are therefore only seeking applications from individuals or agencies with experience and police clearance. For teacher aides there may be scope for longer term employment and training and there is less need for experience.

Each role will be directed to students/ whānau with greatest need by school leaders and Learning Support Coordinators with a team approach. Greymouth High School (GHS) will manage contracts.

This is an exciting opportunity to offer meaningful support to improve conditions for students and whānau throughout our district.

For more information or to submit your expression of interest (outlining your strengths, experience and qualifications), please contact Andy England via the Greymouth High School Office on High Street:

Deadline for submissions 3pm, Friday 30th October.
