New signage!

GHS —

You may notice a few new signs around the school office, uniform shop and library. These are the first of several new signs that will be installed, so keep an eye out for new additions in the coming weeks..

Big thanks to Badboy Graphix who worked in consultation with staff and students of Greymouth High School to create these amazing new signs.

We also must thank Ariki Creative for providing Greymouth High School with the beautiful kōwhaiwhai, called rou-ora. The design narrative behind rou-ora:
"This design represents resiliance and growth. The pūhoro form of koru speaks to the values of a warrior and the skill set they embody. Being vigilant and agile to learning new things and to be able to problem solve in a responsive way. The line down the centre also referred to as the Manawa, represnts the heart of the family and the community that ties together all the students. It speaks to whakapapa of the students and the kura itself".
