Changes are afoot at the school vege garden with most of this area being handed over to Lara Thompson and her EFS- Environment for Sustainability class who are setting up a native plant nursery. The soil has been removed from one side of the garden in preparation for this and plants have been transplanted. Work has been continuing on the paved area between C block and TWK with both the junior and senior Supported Learning students helping to paint the pellet furniture after our TA's Phil Harvey and Don Monk and senior student Reuben Fulton had made them.
Timber for the large rustic seat was donated by Electronet via Louisa and Matt Belcher and kindly made up by Mrs Chapman's husband, Greg. This is a great space to have some time out and play a game of naughts and crosses or just enjoy the sun. All welcome.
