4 students, the children of essential workers who can't stay at home, have worked at school this week. They have three teachers - Miss Wood, Mr Steyn and Mr Tangney - and onsite we have our office staff, our librarian, our property team and our senior leadership team. The day starts with getting together and planning, then online lessons, exercise, cooking and relaxation.

My thanks to the whole team, including parents and whanau, for keeping up our work to eliminate Covid-19.

We have no news yet on how NCEA will be handled, but I'm confident that we will get news soon and that consideration will be given for students who have had to deal with all this disruption. It's been particularly hard for students in practical subjects, including Trades Academy, and we're looking at how we can play catch-up as well as possible.

Also no news on when or what Alert Level 2 looks like.

Thanks to everyone for their input to our surveys - you've really helped to guide us in our teaching.
