There are a range of competitions available to students of Greymouth High School. Please see below for individual competition dates and prices.

All competitions are submitted electronically. Please contact Mrs Cropp (croppf@greyhigh.school.nz) if you are interested in taking part.

University of Canterbury Kiwi Competitions in English, Science and Mathematics. These competitions are open to students in Year 9 &10. The questions are skills based and closely align with the New Zealand Curriculum. Cost $9.50 per competition. Enter by 6 May.

NZ Physics and Maths Competition is open to all students in Years 9-13. It will be held in June and July. Cost $12. Enter by 12 May.

Australian Mathematics Competition is available to students in Years 9-13. Competition Date: 3-5 August. Students have one hour to complete 30 multiple choice and short answer questions. Cost $8. Enter by 22 July.
