Mrs Samantha Mortimer —

Kia ora koutou

Firstly, I would like to thank all of our essential workers, this includes our students, for doing such a great job. I also hope that you managed to get some respite from work over the last few days.

Secondly, we will be updating you all when we have been given more information from the Government and the Ministry of Education.

The timetable below gives all students the opportunity to touch base with their classroom teachers. It is a time for students to ask questions about the work that has been set on Hāpara workspace. Please be reminded that this time is compulsory. Teachers will be emailing their students with the Google Meet link.

Chromebooks/internet access

We understand that some students do not have access to a Chromebook and/or internet connection, there will be further advice on this after the alert level update this afternoon.

Online Learning

Here is the online timetable that will commence tomorrow (Tuesday 24th August 2021):

Trades students

Trades students please use your usual day - Thursday or Friday - to complete your Trades work. If you need any support please contact your trades teachers and/or Kiri Russell, Trades Support, on russellk@greyhigh.school.nz.

Mentor time today - Monday 23rd August at 12.30

A reminder that mentor teachers are meeting with their classes today (Monday) at 12.30pm to check in and also explain our procedures for online learning. There will be opportunities to ask questions at this time as well. They will also be asking students about their access to a device and the internet.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact your child’s mentor teacher.
