This event is open to all high school students from years 9 to 13, with no previous experience or EU knowledge required. Concurrently with the student event, a Professional Development workshop will be convened for teachers, facilitated by Dr Maria Perreau of the Aotearoa Social Studies Educators’ Network (ASSEN). The workshop will explore ways in which the European Union may be used as a context for teaching and learning in the social studies curriculum.
