Young Enterprise Scheme Equity Seed Funding & Early Bird Prize

Year 13 students Henry Priebe and Ittai Perchig have been awarded $200 of Equity Seed Funding for their Young Enterprise Company, Curiosity Cubed, from the University of Waikato. They also won a $75 early bird registration prize and will use the money to buy materials for their prototype product. Henry and Ittai are mentored by Life, Career and Business Coach, Shoshy Perchig-Gibli.

The Lion Foundation Young Enterprize Scheme (YES) is an experimental programme where students set up and run a real business. Each YES company creates its own product or service and brings this to market.

$10,000 of equity seed funding is available to companies who have one or more Maori or Pasifika team members.
