[Rory/Mr Collins] is a pre-service teacher studying through the University of Canterbury. His main teaching subject is English, although he also has an interest in Mathematics, especially Statistics, and is working with classes across both of these learning areas while at Greymouth High School. Before studying teaching, he completed a BA/BSc triple-majoring in English, Philosophy, and Psychology while also working as a teacher aide at Hagley College and Statistics tutor at UC. He’s lived in Christchurch his whole life and is very pleased to be taking some time away from the city to soak in the unique qualities of the West Coast.

Kia ora, I’m Jasmine/Miss Dodemaide, a pre-service teacher studying at the University of Canterbury. My main teaching subjects are Physical Education, Outdoor ED, and junior Health. I was brought up on the West Coast and moved to Christchurch to complete my bachelor’s degree in Sport Coaching. As I was a previous student from John Paul II, it is great to see what the big rave of Greymouth High School all is about. I am pleased to be placed back in my home town for my first placement.
