Qwest - fitness and nutrition

This term, one of our Year Nine Qwest choices was fitness and nutrition. We have been developing some fitness plans and learning about planning and creating healthy meals. We have focused on looking at what an athlete would eat to nurture their body and used that information to guide our menu choices. We have just begun to create our meals in small groups. First, we planned our meals and justified why they are nutritious. Next, we planned ahead, what would we need to do, buy and make sure we have to create our meals. Now we are at the stage of creating meals and evaluating our success, and how our preparation went. So far we have all been successful, but only five groups have been to the supermarket, and two groups have created their meals.
