Teina Whānau Update!

Hayley Brass —

What a fabulous term we have had in Teina! After a rocky start to the year, we have bounced back and the children have settled into life in the Teina Whānau. We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and a safe and enjoyable holiday. Next term, we are looking forward to our Year 4 Camps.

Swimming at Northern Arena

Over the last two weeks our students have travelled by bus each day to Northern Arena to attend their swimming lessons. We were blown away by their independence and resilience when faced with a challenge. It was amazing to see the progress in their water confidence and abilities over such a short period of time. The children absolutely loved going to swimming each day and they behaved beautifully while out in public representing our school so well.

Well done to our awesome shout out winners this week. Keep showing those values to get your name in our special jar!

Year 4 Camp

If your child is in Year 4, they would have come home with some camp forms to be completed and returned to school. Thank you for being prompt with this as we have almost received all forms back.

We are aware that these camps are expensive despite trying to negotiate prices to keep them affordable.

Non-refundable deposits must be paid via Enrolmy. An invoice will be sent to you with the final balance which can then be paid via Enrolmy as one lump sum. If you would prefer to manage your payments over a longer length of time, you can set up an automatic payment for the outstanding amount into our school bank account:

Gulf Harbour School

06 - 0383 - 0205854 - 00

Please contact Sharon Beard at s.beard@ghs.school.nz if you require assistance in setting up this payment method.

This is a fabulous growth opportunity for your child where they get the chance to enact all of our school values and enjoy experiences run by qualified instructors, such as archery, kayaking, rock climbing and more.
