Welcome Back Tuakana!

Nathan Hanwell —

It has been an amazing few days since we have finally returned to Gulf Harbour School and Tuakana.

I have loved how quickly the students have settled into their new classes, and have adapted to the high expectations that we have across years 5 and 6. We have got straight into it, with team building activities, getting to know you challenges and problem solving and the students are loving it (so far!)

Leadership Camp - It is wonderful to see so many future leaders attending this weekend's Leadership Camp at MERC. I know from experience that it is simply incredible and will enable the students to be pushed out of their comfort zones and will build relationships, strengths and experiences that will last.

Reminders:

Stationery - Please ensure any outstanding stationery is brought in asap, as our book work will begin more formally in week 3.

PE Kit - It is important that all students have their PE kit daily, as we do plenty of fitness and in this weather, that can lead to rather pungent students!

Shakespear Trips - These will be taking place on the 21st and 28th February. We need adults to support, both walking down and back, plus willing to get in the water! If interested, please contact your child's class teacher

Devices - In every day, please and charged
