Wonderful Museum Trips for Tuakana!
What a fantastic time was had by all at Auckland Museum last week.
The students were superbly well behaved throughout the visits, showing great respect to the leaders and they learnt a great deal! The first main activity was Entomology, which was the exploration of inspects, particularly adaptation. the students got to explore many variety of insects and even created their own scientific drawings!
After that, the students had a deep-delve into New Zealand history, with a superbly-led interactive discussion of how the early settlers evolved into their new environment, and an exploration of the tools used to survive a more challenging climate!
