Another fantastic week for the Purapura whānau.

Abi Copley —

As we are fast approaching the middle of the term, we wanted to catch you up with all the amazing learning we've discoverd through our topic 'Voyages of Discovery'!

Take a look at what we've been up to!

Term 2 2023 Abi Copley

Trip updates & Reminders:

Thanks so much to all the whānau who have returned the permission slips, made the payments and attended the Year 2 Camp meeting this week.

We have two very exciting events this term.

  • Auckland Museum: Week Beginning June 19th

and

  • Year 1 EOTC Day: Monday June 26th @ school, during the day
  • Year 2 Camp: Monday June 26th @ school, 4pm-9pm

If you haven't returned the permission slips to your class teacher and made payment via the school shop please do so before the advertised final cut-off dates

  • Auckland Museum: Monday May 29th
  • EOTC/Year 2 Camp: Monday June 5th
All permission slips are attached to this article and paper copies were sent home last Friday.

Sickness:

As usual, the winter bugs are taking their toll on our tamariki. We are noticing a lot of sore tummies, runny noses and sore throats. We appreciate you taking these complaints seriously and keeping your children home when they are not well.

You can inform the office of their absence via the Hero app.

Paper towels!

We would be very grateful for donations of paper towels to support our tamariki with their hand hygenie. If you prefer, please ensure their is a hand towel in their bag that is washed regularly. Any paper towels can be given to the class teacher.
