Another busy few weeks in Teina!

Volcano Van!

We've had an explosive start to our Earth Science topic this term, thanks to the incredible visit from the Volcano Van, all the way from Auckland Museum! The tamariki in Teina were buzzing with excitement as they got hands-on with the wonders of volcanoes. From erupting mini volcanoes to exploring the science behind these powerful natural wonders, it was a session full of learning and discovery. Who knew science could be this much fun? We’re pretty sure we’ve sparked a few future geologists and volcanologists in our midst!

Cross Country!

And what a day we had at the Cross Country event yesterday! Our students ran their hearts out, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts. Whether they sprinted to the finish or paced themselves with determination, everyone gave it their all. A huge thank you to all the parents who came out to cheer and support—it really made a difference. The smiles, high-fives, and team spirit were just as rewarding as crossing the finish line!
