Purapura has been crafting, creating and using our imaginations this term as we continue to build on our inquiry learning. We are super excited about our upcoming EOTC Day and Year 2 Camp!

Come View Our Creations  

We hope you have enjoyed seeing all our cardboard creations coming home in the last few weeks. We have been using inspiration from our construction based stories to help us think like engineers and builders. We are really looking forward to showing you all our learning during our Open Classrooms at 3.15pm on Thursday, 11th April.

Miss O'Connell's Morning Tea Crew

Miss O'Connell is always on the look out for superstar Purapura learners. If spotted, our names go onto a special piece of paper and a fortnightly draw for each year group occurs at choir practices. The special reward for having your name chosen is morning tea with Miss O'Connell in the staffroom! Our first bunch of winners had a blast! 

Purapura EOTC Day 

We are very excited for our upcoming EOTC Day on the 4th of April. To make the day extra exciting Purapura learners are invited to come to school dressed as explorers, pirates or treasure hunters. Each class will enjoy a rotation of 4 exciting activities ending with a yummy hot chip and apple lunch. 

Year 2 Camp

We are so excited about our upcoming Year 2 Camp. It would be great if attendees could please come in their house colours and bring a named blanket to build tents in classrooms (these will go back home on Friday the 5th).

Upcoming Events - STEAM Cell Visit 

In Term 2 we have Motat's STEAM Cell trailer visit us on site at Gulf Harbour School for fun science smorgasbord activities. This is an onsite visit for all Purapura learners.  Confirmation of the day your child will visit the trailer will be posted on HERO in Term 2.
