EPro8 Intraschool Event
On Tuesday, 29th August, our Tuakana EPro8 students dug deep and showed incredible skills, teamwork and resilience to complete the STEM challenges set this year. There was a Water Well, Dunk Tank and Certificate Giver-Outer to be built - not for the faint-hearted! It was a tough competition and very close, with the top three teams each just 10 points apart.
We are really proud of all the students who participated. Some of them had never used the EPro8 equipment as they had been called on in the 11th hour, so massive kudos to them for stepping into the great unknown and giving it a real go! Tensions were high at times as this was a timed competition and the kids had to work through some frustrations and pressure. However, this was a positive learning experience for future situations in which their resilience may be tested. At the end of the day, everyone pulled together and completed excellent builds, of which they should be super proud.
