NCEA Exams Start Soon!

Michaela Heenan —

From Friday 8th November to Tuesday 3rd December, NCEA exams will be taking place for many of our senior students in Years 11-13.

Students will shortly be receiving a pack in the mail that includes an exam timetable, their exam admission slip, Hagley College NCEA summary and a candidate information sheet.

If students have any questions regarding missing exam entries please come and see Michaela Heenan, the NCEA Administrator, in the Enrolment Centre immediately.

Exams begin at 9:30am for morning exams, and 2pm for afternoon exams. Students should carefully check the NCEA exam timetable (click here), and plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of each exam.

Students with Special Assessment Conditions should be in regular contact with Michaela Heenan with any concerns. Michaela can be contacted by phone (03) 364 5178 or by email: michaela.heenan@staff.hagley.school.nz

All Year 9 and 10 Junior classes will continue as normal during this period.

Digital Exams

Any student doing History, Business Studies, Classics, L1 Horticulture or L1 Home Economics will notice they have a (D) on their administration slips. This means the exam is a digital exam taken on computers. Students should know that there will be a paper copy available if they choose not to do the exam digitally.
