Covid in Christchurch – not the news we wanted to wake up to on Thursday! With two cases in our Ōtautahi community, we want to reassure our students and school community and to remind them of the things we can be doing to keep ourselves safe.

I also want to acknowledge how you will all be feeling right now! Anxious, frustrated and overwhelmed…and that is just me! Let’s support each other as we deal with this. It certainly should make us empathetic for whānau in Auckland!

At school, we strongly encourage mask wearing, ventilating the classrooms and spreading out seating arrangements in class – and of course, vaccination. Also, if you are unwell, please stay home.
