Shot Bro - Confessions of a Depressed Bullet

Steve Langley —

Hagley College is supporting Rob Mokaraka's award winning play Shot Bro - Confessions of a Depressed Bullet, which will be hosted at Ara's Te Punawanaka on Friday 13th October at 6.30pm, Saturday 14th October at 5.00pm and Sunday 16th October at 2.00pm. The show is a black comedy about a very real fight with depression.

"He has really showed others what it's truly like to live with depression, but he shows it in a light no amount of explanation ever could. For those who suffer with depression, you will feel like someone understands what it's really like and can share it in a way you wish you could."

The performance has letters of support from the Mental Health Foundation and the Department of Corrections, to name a few. The show is a koha entry, with 100% donated to the Youth Hub in Christchurch. There will be free kai and hot drinks and tons of resources for support. To book a seat please email shotbrohealing@gmail.com.
