On Thursday, 18th October, the Careers department hosted an informative and productive evening for senior students.

Students were invited to come and talk about their potential career options once they leave Hagley. Industry representatives who attended included the NZ Police, the Defence Forces, ARA, Avon City Ford, and the National Trades Academy. Students were able to talk directly with employers and tertiary educators about jobs, courses, and apprenticeships. The event was such a success that it will run again at Hagley in October 2019.

There are some free 'Taster' days at ARA shortly:

• December 3rd – Nutrition, Health Promotion and Sports Science (Years 11-13 only)
  
• December 5-6 – NASDA Junior Taster (Years 9 & 10 only)
