NCEA Information Update

Jenni Holden —

Details of students' NCEA standards and an invoice for the payment of the 2017 NCEA fees will be sent at the end of this term to all senior students.

NCEA fees are payable every year you participate in any assessments. This means that even if you are just gaining credits through internally assessed standards you will still need to pay the fee. If the fee is not paid, the credits you have gained are not recorded on your Record of Achievement, they will not count towards any certificates (such as NCEA Level 1) and cannot be seen by employers or training organisations.

The NCEA fee for 2017 is $76.70 – but this can be reduced if you qualify. Full details and an application form will be sent with the invoice, and the fee could come down to $20 per student, or less!

Entry into Scholarship is $30 per subject, and non-payment of any charged Scholarship fee could result in University Entrance not being awarded.
