Over the course of the winter season, our refugee and migrant background students have provided the backbone of Hagley's senior football team.

Every week, they have contributed to a team effort with their fellow Kiwi students, and have displayed immense enjoyment while doing so. Regardless of mixed results throughout the season, they were always competitive against schools that had played together far longer than they had. A successful season, long may a strong contingent of these students keep participating in Hagley football!
