Music News

Nanako Sato —

All the musicians in our school are delighted to be back at school and excited to see each other.

There have been some jam sessions happening in the Music block, and we are making some noise. While some students lost motivation during the lockdown, some of our School of Music students have been busy making their original songs, entering competitions and appearing on TV shows.

Year 12 School of Music student, Kyle Canoy, recently entered for the international singing competition "Frankie's Idol" and placed as a runner up. Click here to watch his stunning performance, a cover of " I Just Called To Say I Love You" by Stevie Wonder.

Another Year 12 School of Music student, Analise Twemlow, has been on the TV show called "Unbreakable". TV One has been filming her musical journey over the last few years, and it is worth watching. She is a beautiful singer-songwriter who has Tourette's Syndrome, and music helps her to stop her ticks. If you have missed it, you can have a look at the show on demand. Please click here to watch and support her.
