Year 9 and 10 “Do the Duke” Kete Wana students have been volunteering in the community recently.

Planting new shrubs and plants at the Hagley preschool, talking to the elderly at the St Allisa rest home, and leading games with the Hagley preschool students have been some real highlights.

When not volunteering, students are working hard to improve their physical fitness and learn a new skill. For students who have enrolled in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, a three-day adventurous journey to Mt Somers awaits them in Term 4.
