Hagley Culture Chat on PLAINS FM 96.9 is a radio programme by our ESOL students from the adolescent classes.

Sunday 21st May represented World Day for ‘Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development’. 

Nearly 65 million people are displaced worldwide. Each day thousands more flee their homes. On 20 June, the world commemorates the strength, courage, and resilience of millions of refugees.  

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Muslim lunar calendar, which means its date annually changes on the Gregorian calendar.

Our students had a wonderful celebration at End of Term 1.

Hagley Preschool has been on site at the College for over 40 years. It is open 8am–4pm for children aged 4 months to 5 years.

The bilingual liaison support program for refugee families at Hagley has established a successful way to work with various communities of refugee parents and Christchurch schools to ensure that refugee students achieve their full potential for educational achievement.
