Over the weekend of the 14-16 October, Hagley held a celebration event to mark the 50th Anniversary of Hagley College.

One of the highlights of Friday's celebrations was hearing from six Hagley people, whose links to the school span nearly 50 years from its opening to the current day.

In the holidays Finn Hawkesby-Browne represented Hagley in the Secondary Schools MTB Competition in Dunedin.

Hagley is regarded as an innovative place, which was reinforced at our '50 Years of Hagley' celebrations held over the weekend of 14 - 16 October. What isn't as well known is that our history of innovation goes back nearly 50 years.

It's that time of year again when lots of exciting things are happening at Hagley, and one of those is our School of Fashion's Fashion Showcase.

Vicki's approach in Hagley's full-time fashion school is all about helping students realise their true ability in an area they love.

15 senior girls went to Mairehau High School to listen to Westpac Ambassador and Paralympic Champion Sophie Pascoe. 

Earlier this year Hagley lost a wonderful staff member after Caroline sadly lost her battle with cancer.

From the Hagley Theatre Company to NZ television, Morgan Bradley now has her sights set on Hollywood.

Here at Hagley we have had a long history of students achieving success in the film and game industry, both nationally and internationally.

Thomas Johnstone recently competed in the Mid-South Secondary School Fencing Competition were he had a great result coming 3rd in his age group. 

Recently nine students from the Hagley School of Fashion entered the Hokonui Fashion Awards. These Awards are firmly established as a key event on the national fashion calendar and continue to attract entries and interest from throughout New Zealand.
