JUICIE FUNDRAISER

We just want to say a massive thanks to everyone that was able to support this fundraiser. We sold over 1100 boxes of Juicies and raised almost $4000! This will give us enough money to purchase the Friendship Bench and play resources for the junior school so thanks again. The Juicies should arrive to us by the end of the week and we will get them out early next week.

AGM & VACANCIES

We have our AGM coming up on Tuesday 29th March. Everyone is welcome and we'd love you to join us. At this stage it is most likely to be over Zoom. We currently have some vacancies that we would love to fill. We're looking for a Co-Treasurer, Communications Co-ordinator and a sausage Sizzle morning Co-ordinator. WALK OR WHEEL WEDNESDAYS

Walk or Wheel Wednesdays continue to be a great success. It was amazing to see so many of our tamariki taking part in Walk or Wheel Week last week and we have over 600 entries going to the Christchurch City Council. Good luck to everyone that entered. 

HELPING WHĀNAU IN ISOLATION

The PTA would like to offer to coordinate helping school families who need to isolate through Covid or other illnesses at this difficult time. If you need help, or are able to help please email the PTA - pta@halswell.school.nz - and we will connect you up. We are thinking that it would consist of things such as - picking up and delivering grocery orders - doing a quick shop - picking up and delivering medication.  The PTA will connect a helper to someone who needs help and it is up to them to arrange payment for any goods that are delivered etc.
