Tēnā koutou katoa. Tēnei te mihi atu ki a koutou

On Monday, you would have received an email inviting you to complete an online survey related to the current reporting practices at Halswell School.  We have had a great response so far with around 60 people completing the survey.

To ensure that we gain a very clear insight into our parent community's thoughts about how well child(ren)'s progress and achievement is reported at our school, we would appreciate doubling, if not tripling, this number before the survey closes at  3pm on Friday 20 September.

If you haven't already done so, please click here to participate in the survey.  We anticipate that it will take 15-20 minutes to complete. The feedback we receive will have a direct impact on how we report to parents and students in the future, so I strongly encourage you to have your say.

I would like to finish by thanking the PTA for organising a fantastic Quiz last Saturday night. This was a wonderful community event that raised around $10,000. These funds will go towards the $30,000  the PTA has pledged for the retractable bleacher system in the hall.

This event would not have been possible without various contributions from our community. Thank you to everyone who donated a prize, sold some raffle tickets and/or attended the event. Rest assured that your support is greatly appreciated!

Ngā mihi nui
