As we know this year has been another difficult year for many. The Halswell Holiday Helpers are once again collecting presents and food donations for Foster Hope, Christchurch City Mission and the Hoon Hay foodbank.

 You can place your gift or food donations under the Christmas tree in the office from this week until the end of Week 8 (Friday the 10th of December). We will then get these out to the charities so they can be distributed before Christmas.

Foster Hope is an organisation that collects Christmas presents for children in foster care throughout New Zealand. Many children enter into emergency service facilities during the Christmas period and we would love your support to bring some sunshine and hope to the most vulnerable children.

Christchurch City Mission and the Hoon Hay foodbank are both local organisations that provide support in the form of food parcels to families and people in need.

Attached are some ideas of gifts that you could donate to these amazing causes. We would love to show as much support as we can to these charities and organisations who are doing amazing things in our community.
