Sport Week

Natasha Fraser —

Last week we had sports week at Halswell School. There was a variety of sports that gave our students a chance to get involved in physical exercise throughout the week.

Monday - We had kids skipping at both first and second lunch. It was great to see such a variety of children having a go at a new skill or improving their skipping skills. Young and old jumped together over the lunchtimes having fun.

Tuesday - There was a before school circuit in the hall which had a fantastic turn out. Teachers and students played a game of netball against each other, showing their competitive side and that everyone is able to participate in physical exercise.
