Rob Naysmith — Nov 15, 2021

In preparation for next year, we need to collect expressions of interest from parents wanting their children to learn a musical instrument or have singing lessons in 2022. Please fill in the appropriate form by Wednesday 8th December.

Children need to be in Year 3 or older (in 2022) to learn an instrument, except for the piano, violin and ukulele where exceptions might be made for Year 2 children. If tuition spaces are full, preference is given to older students and children already learning. We try to accommodate everyone, for this reason children can only learn one instrument unless the child is picking up a second instrument through the Band programme or vocal lessons with EduSing.

We are really excited to be continuing our Band programme in 2022 This year's players progress to a concert band and we will start a new training band for those starting on new instruments (Flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bass guitar, percussion) in 2022. Please note Band is only open to children in Years 5-8.

EduSing is continuing to grow and offers quality singing coaching. Please see this article for more info.

Instrumental tuition Piano, ukulele, flute, guitar, violin, bass guitar, drums, Band (Years 5-8 - trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trombone, bass guitar, percussion)

Vocal tuition EduSing (group vocal lessons from Years 3-8)

There are two options for sign-up this year:

The sign-up form is an expression of interest and tutors will follow up with you before the end of this year.

If your child is already learning it is important that you still fill in the appropriate form.
